This scenic lookout offers spectacular views of the mighty Cockburn Range in the east. The range is an enormous sandstone escarpment that dominates the landscape here and rises 600 m above the surrounding plains. The best time to watch it is in the late afternoon or at sunset, when the western face is lit up and glows in an incredible orange/red.
